What is Darkmass.io?

Darkmass.io is a multiplayer arena that runs straight in your browser. It is free, with no download and no account to make. Every player is a Star in the same dark arena, growing by drawing in orbs and swallowing any rival it outweighs by about a quarter. Getting heavy has a price, though. The bigger you are, the slower you move, the harder the hazards hit, and the world events themselves are drawn toward the leader.

Quick tips

• Farm orbs hard in your first minute, while they are still worth extra.
• Hold the Gravity Well in short pulses. Its price climbs the longer you keep it open.
• Save Dash for when something bigger closes in: it burns mass quickly and trails it behind you as orbs.
• Watch the event arrow and arrive early, because events are where the mass piles up.
